Our Story

An independent catalogue of an Alabama mill that has been making rugs since 1928, shelved the way the category is actually shopped.

This site does one job: it lays out the Maples Rugs range by shape, size and pattern, and adds the sizing and care knowledge the listings scatter across two hundred pages. We are an independent catalogue, not the manufacturer. Every Buy button opens that exact listing on Amazon.

The brand behind the range

Maples Industries has made rugs in Scottsboro, Alabama since 1928, and unusually for this category it still manufactures domestically: the Made in USA line on these listings is the working evidence. The Amazon range is built around washable printed polyester with a bonded non-slip backing, sold at prices where a household can treat rugs as things to live on rather than around.

What we add

  • Shelving. Four shapes, 22 patterns, every size stated, cheapest first.
  • Sizing. A size guide and a calculator that start from your room rather than from the box.
  • Care. A washing guide that treats the machine-washable claim as an instruction set, including which sizes fit which drum.
  • Materials honesty. A materials page that says what the rugs are made of and exactly which certificates do and do not exist.

What we do not do

We do not write reviews or invent people. Ratings shown are the listings' own aggregates, and across the catalogue they average 4.6 from 2,540,031 ratings. Where the brand does not publish something, we say so rather than filling the gap.

Purchases through our links earn us a commission from Amazon as an Associate, at no cost to you. That is the whole business model, and it only works while the catalogue stays worth trusting. The Maples Rugs storefront lists every current piece.
